Ar Rayyan is a municipality located 20 kilometers west of Qatar’s capital city, Doha. It has a population of over 600, 000 people and is one of the fastest-growing municipalities in the country. The area was originally known for its agricultural production but has transformed into a modern city with excellent infrastructure and amenities due to rapid urbanization. Aspire Park is one of Ar Rayyan’s most notable landmarks and attractions, Spanning an impressive 88 hectares and featuring beautiful landscaped gardens, Walking paths, Playgrounds for children, Outdoor fitness equipment as well as several lakes.

  3. Al-Wakrah SC: This football club was founded in 1959 and has won two Qatari Stars League championships (in the years1983-84 &1987-88) as well as one Emir Cup trophy.
