The City of Isabela is a first-class city situated in the province of Basilan, Philippines. It is located on the southern coast of Basilan Island and covers an area of 223.6 square kilometers. The city was named after Queen Isabella II of Spain who reigned during the time when the Philippines was under Spanish colonial rule.
