Conjeeveram, Also known as Kanchipuram, Is a city in the southern state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is one of the oldest cities in India with prehistoric roots and is famous for its cultural heritage and ancient temples that attract tourists from all over the world. The city has over 100 temples dedicated to various Hindu deities, Making it a significant pilgrimage site for Hindus. Some of the most famous temples include Kailasanathar Temple, Kamakshi Amman Temple, Varadaraja Perumal Temple and Ekambareshwarar Temple.

Kailasanathar Temple is one of Conjeeveram’s oldest temples built during the Pallava dynasty in the 8th century AD. It features intricate carvings on its walls depicting scenes from Hindu mythology and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Kamakshi Amman Temple was built during the Chola dynasty in the 14th century AD and features beautiful architecture and intricate carvings.
