Daly City is a city located in San Mateo County, California, United States. It is situated on the San Francisco Peninsula, Just south of San Francisco. With a population of over 100, 000 residents, Daly City is one of the largest cities in the county. The city covers an area of approximately 7 square miles and has a diverse population with a large Asian community. Daly City has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s when it was primarily known for its dairy farms and agriculture.

Over time, As more people moved into the area due to its proximity to San Francisco and other major cities in the Bay Area, Daly City became more urbanized.
