General Trias is a municipality located in the province of Cavite, Philippines. It was previously known as San Francisco de Malabon but was renamed to honor General Mariano Trias, A hero during the Philippine Revolution against Spain. The town has a rich history and is considered one of the fastest-growing municipalities in Cavite. With an area of 81.46 square kilometers, General Trias is situated 35 kilometers south of Manila and is bounded by Imus to the north, Dasmariñas to the west, Tanza to the south, And Amadeo and Indang to the east.

Its strategic location makes it an ideal place for businesses looking for opportunities outside Metro Manila. The town features several tourist destinations that showcase its culture and heritage such as General Trias Church or Our Lady of Guidance Parish Church which dates back to 1611 but was rebuilt in 1863 after being destroyed by fire. Another popular attraction is Tejeros Convention Site where an important event in Philippine history took place on March 22, 1897 -the Tejeros Convention- where Emilio Aguinaldo was elected as president of the revolutionary government.
