Huanglongsi, Also known as Huanglong Temple, Is a Buddhist temple located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China. The temple has a rich history dating back to the Tang Dynasty when it was first built as a small monastery. The temple complex covers an area of over 30 hectares and includes halls, Pagodas, Bridges, And gardens. Its five-story wooden pagoda is one of the tallest wooden structures in China. Huanglongsi’s collection of ancient Buddhist relics and artifacts is one of its main attractions.

Visitors can see more than 2000 statues made from bronze, Stone or wood depicting various Buddhist deities such as Avalokitesvara and Maitreya Buddha. The temple’s natural hot springs are believed to have healing properties due to their high mineral content. Visitors can soak in these hot springs while enjoying views of Mount Minshan in the distance. Huanglongsi also features beautiful gardens with ponds filled with lotus flowers and koi fish swimming beneath their surface. These gardens are designed according to traditional Chinese landscaping principles. Today many tourists visit Huanglongsi for both its cultural significance as well as its natural beauty.

It’s an important religious site for Buddhists around China’s southwest region and showcases China’s rich history and Buddhist heritage.
