Huozhou is a city situated in the Shanxi province of China, Covering an area of 1, 685 square kilometers and with a population of over 600, 000 people. The city is located on the banks of the Fen River and surrounded by mountains, Making it a picturesque destination to visit. One of the most popular attractions in Huozhou is the Huozhou Pagoda – an ancient structure built during the Tang Dynasty that stands at over 50 meters tall. Visitors can climb to its top for breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.
Another must-visit location is Huaqing Palace Hot Springs Resort where visitors can relax in natural hot springs while enjoying beautiful scenery. - The Battle of Huozhou occurred in 684 AD during the Tang Dynasty. Rebel forces led by Li Jingye fought against imperial troops led by Emperor Gaozong’s general Pei Xingjian. The rebels were defeated, and Li Jingye was captured and executed.
