Ji-Paraná, A city in Rondônia, Brazil, Is the second-largest city in the state and has a population of around 130, 000 people. It was founded in 1977 and named after the Ji-Paraná River that flows through it. The economy of Ji-Paraná is mainly based on agriculture and cattle ranching. The region produces soybeans, Corn, Coffee, Rice as well as textiles, Furniture and construction materials. One of the most popular tourist attractions in Ji-Paraná is Parque Ecológico Urupá which covers over 500 hectares. It offers hiking trails through lush forests along with bird watching and fishing opportunities.

Another notable attraction is Praça da Bíblia (Bible Square) featuring a large statue of Jesus Christ surrounded by beautiful gardens.
