Kamālshahr is a city situated in the central part of Iran’s Alborz province, Approximately 30 kilometers away from Tehran. The city has an estimated population of around 250, 000 people and covers an area of approximately 200 square kilometers. The name Kamālshahr means the city of perfection and was given to this place by its founder, Ayatollah Kamal al-Din Hoseini. It was established in 1987 as a new town to accommodate the growing population of Tehran and designed to be a modern urban center with all necessary facilities for its residents.
One of the main attractions in Kamālshahr is its beautiful parks and green spaces which provide residents with ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as picnics, Jogging or cycling.
