Lucknow, The capital city of Uttar Pradesh in northern India, Is steeped in history and culture. Known as the City of Nawabs, Lucknow was once ruled by the Mughal Empire and later became the center of power for the Nawabs of Awadh. This rich cultural heritage is reflected in its architecture, Cuisine, Music and art. One of Lucknow’s most famous landmarks is the Bara Imambara complex which includes a mosque, Gardens and a labyrinth known as Bhool Bhulaiya. The Bara Imambara itself is an impressive building with intricate architecture featuring arched gateways and domes.

It was built by Nawab Asaf-ud-Daula in 1784 to provide employment during famine years.   3. UP Yoddha: UP Yoddha is a professional kabaddi team based out of Lucknow that competes in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). They were formed before season five of PKL started. In their debut season, they finished second from bottom but improved to reach the playoffs for two consecutive seasons.
