Nazran is a city located in the Republic of Ingushetia, Situated in the southern part of Russia. It is bordered by Georgia to the south and North Ossetia to the west. Nazran has a population of approximately 100, 000 people and serves as the administrative center of Ingushetia. The city has a rich history dating back to ancient times when it was inhabited by various ethnic groups such as Alans, Scythians, And Huns. Later on, It became an important trading center due to its strategic location on the Silk Road.
