Nowshera is a city situated in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. The city is located on the bank of Kabul River and is approximately 27 kilometers east of Peshawar, Which is the provincial capital. Nowshera has a rich history that dates back to ancient times and has been ruled by various dynasties such as Mauryans, Greeks, Mughals, And Durranis. One of the most significant landmarks in Nowshera is Qila Mubarak Fort which was built by Emperor Akbar in 1583. The fort served as a strategic military base during various battles throughout history.
