Panvel is a city located in the Raigad district of the Indian state of Maharashtra. It is situated on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, Around 40 kilometers from Mumbai and 120 kilometers from Pune. The city has an interesting history as it was once a major trade center for spices and goods during the reign of Maratha Empire.
