Sapporo is the largest city and capital of Hokkaido, The northernmost island of Japan. 1. Consadole Sapporo is a professional football club that was founded in 1996 and currently competes in the J1 League. Despite not winning any major trophies, they have had several successful seasons, including finishing as runners-up in the Emperor’s Cup in 2000 and winning the J2 League title in 2016.
