Shikohabad is a small town located in the Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh, India. The town sits on the banks of River Yamuna and is renowned for its rich cultural heritage. The town has an interesting historical background as it was once ruled by Mughal emperor Jahangir’s son Prince Khusrau Mirza. According to local legends, The prince used to visit the place during his exile from Delhi. The name Shikohabad itself comes from Prince Khusrau’s nickname ‘Shikoh.’
