Sliven is a city in eastern Bulgaria, Situated between the Balkan Mountains and the Tundzha River. It has a population of over 90, 000 people and is one of the largest cities in the country. Sliven’s history dates back to ancient times when it was inhabited by Thracian tribes, And it played an important role in Bulgaria’s struggle for independence from Ottoman rule.
