Ussuriysk is a city located in the Primorsky Krai region of Far Eastern Russia. The Ussuri River flows through the city, Marking the border between Russia and China. With a population of around 158, 000 people, Ussuriysk covers an area of 135 square kilometers. The history of Ussuriysk dates back to the mid-19th century when it was established as a military outpost by Russian Cossacks. During this period, The city played a crucial role in protecting Russia’s eastern borders from Chinese and Japanese aggression.
