- Legia Warsaw is one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in Poland, founded in 1916. They have won a record 14 Polish league titles and have also won the Polish Cup a record 19 times.
- Polonia Warsaw, another historic football club, was founded in 1911 and has won two Polish league titles. However, the club has faced financial difficulties in recent years and currently plays in the lower leagues.
- AZS AWF Warszawa is a multi-sport club that was founded in 1950 and is affiliated with the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw. The club fields teams across various sports including basketball, volleyball, handball, athletics, swimming, and fencing.
