Wuzhong, Situated in the northern part of Jiangsu province in China, Is a prefecture-level city that serves as a vital transportation hub for both water and land transport. The city spans an area of 3, 767 square kilometers and has over 3 million inhabitants. The history of Wuzhong dates back to more than 2, 500 years ago when it was called Wu County during the Spring and Autumn Period (770-476 BC). It was one of the most prosperous areas in China during this time due to its strategic location on the Grand Canal.

Later on, It became an important center for silk production during the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD). One of Wuzhong’s main attractions is its stunning natural scenery. The city is surrounded by hills and mountains on three sides while Taihu Lake lies to its south. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views by taking a boat ride on Taihu Lake or hiking up one of the nearby mountains.
