Xiantao is a city in Hubei province, China with a population of about 1.5 million people and covers an area of 2, 538 square kilometers. The city’s history dates back to over 2, 000 years ago when it was known as Yunyang County during the Qin Dynasty. Later on, It was renamed Xiantao during the Tang Dynasty due to its location at the entrance to a valley or tao.
