Ximeicun is a small village in southeastern China, Situated in the province of Jiangxi. The village has a population of approximately 5, 000 people and is surrounded by lush green mountains and beautiful scenery. The history of Ximeicun dates back to the Tang Dynasty when it was known as Ximei. Later on, During the Ming Dynasty, It became an important trading hub for tea and porcelain. The architecture of Ximeicun is one of its most unique features with over 100 well-preserved traditional houses built during the Qing Dynasty.

Ximeicun produces some of the finest green tea in China which is exported worldwide. Visitors can take tours through these plantations to learn about tea production. Additionally, Due to its proximity to Poyang Lake – one of China’s largest freshwater lakes – Ximeicun has an active fishing industry.
