Yuba City is a city located in Northern California, United States. It is the county seat of Sutter County and has a population of approximately 66, 000 people. The city is situated in the Sacramento Valley and is known for its rich agricultural heritage. The history of Yuba City dates back to the mid-1800s when it was founded as a trading post for gold miners during the California Gold Rush. The city was named after the Yuba River which flows through the area. In 1856, Yuba City became the county seat of Sutter County.

Yuba City’s economy is largely driven by agriculture with crops such as almonds, Rice, Peaches and prunes being grown in abundance.
