Al ‘Ajamī is a small village in the Asyut Governorate of Egypt, Located on the east bank of the Nile River about 10 kilometers south of Asyut. The village boasts a rich cultural heritage and history that dates back to ancient times. One of Al ‘Ajamī’s most notable features is its ancient ruins, Believed to be remnants of a Pharaonic temple dedicated to the goddess Isis. These ruins consist mainly of large stone blocks and columns, Some bearing hieroglyphic inscriptions dating back over 3, 000 years.
