Aqtaū, Also known as Aktau, Is a port city located in the southwestern region of Kazakhstan. The city is situated on the eastern shore of the Caspian Sea and serves as an important transportation hub for the country. Aqtaū has a population of approximately 200, 000 people and is known for its beautiful beaches, Unique architecture, And rich history. The name Aqtaū means white mountain in Kazakh language and refers to the nearby limestone cliffs that are visible from the city. These cliffs provide a stunning backdrop to Aqtaū’s beaches which are popular with locals and tourists alike.

The water in this part of the Caspian Sea is relatively shallow which makes it ideal for swimming and water sports.
