Ash Shuhadā’, Also known as Martyrs’ Village, Is a small village located in the Giza Governorate of Egypt. The village was named after the 13 Egyptian soldiers who were killed in an attack by Israeli forces during the Yom Kippur War in 1973. The soldiers were buried in a mass grave in what is now known as Martyrs’ Square, Which has become a symbol of national pride for Egyptians. The village is home to around 10, 000 people and is known for its rich history and traditional way of life.

Many residents are farmers who grow crops such as wheat, Corn, And vegetables. The village also has several small shops selling locally made handicrafts and souvenirs. One of the main attractions in Ash Shuhadā’ is the Martyrs’ Museum, Which was built to honor the soldiers who died during the Yom Kippur War. The museum houses artifacts from the war including weapons used by both sides, Photographs and personal belongings of fallen soldiers.
