Benoni is a city located in the eastern part of Gauteng province, South Africa. It is situated approximately 32 kilometers east of Johannesburg and has a population of over 600, 000 people. The city was established in 1907 during the gold rush era and was named after the Hebrew name for son of my sorrow, Which reflects its history as a mining town. Benoni has a rich cultural heritage and is home to various historical landmarks and tourist attractions.

The Benoni Museum showcases the town’s history, Including its mining past, While the Bunny Park offers visitors an opportunity to interact with rabbits, Ducks, Goats, And other animals. Additionally, Lakefield Square provides shopping opportunities for both locals and tourists. The city also boasts several parks such as Homestead Lake Park that features picnic areas for families to enjoy outdoor activities while enjoying scenic views of nature.
