Bhatinda is a city located in the northern state of Punjab, India. It is one of the oldest cities in Punjab and has a rich history dating back to the Harappan civilization. The city was founded by Bala Rao Bhatti, A Rajput king and was named after him. The city is situated on the banks of the Sutlej River and is known for its fertile agricultural land. It is often referred to as the food bowl of Punjab due to its high production of wheat, Rice, And cotton.

The city also has several industries such as textiles, Fertilizers, And sugar mills. One of the major attractions in Bhatinda is Qila Mubarak, An ancient fort that dates back to 100 AD. The fort has witnessed many historical events such as battles between different rulers including Alexander the Great.
