Carapicuíba is a city located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It has an estimated population of 400, 000 people and covers an area of approximately 34 square kilometers. The city is situated on the outskirts of São Paulo and is part of the metropolitan region. The name Carapicuíba comes from the Tupi-Guarani language and means place where crabs abound. The city was founded in 1964 after being separated from its neighboring town Barueri. Today, Carapicuíba is known for its vibrant culture, Rich history, And diverse population.
