Carrollton, Located in Texas, USA, Is a city with a population of around 139, 000 people. It is situated in the northwestern part of Dallas County and covers an area of about 37 square miles. The city is surrounded by several other cities like Addison, Farmers Branch, Lewisville and Coppell. One of the most fascinating things about Carrollton is its rich history dating back to the mid-1800s when European immigrants first settled there. The city was named after Carrollton, Illinois and was initially established as a farming community with cotton being its primary crop.

However, Over time it transformed into an industrial center with various manufacturing plants setting up shop in the area. Today Carrollton has a diverse range of businesses including healthcare providers like Baylor Scott & White Medical Center-Carrollton and retail stores such as Walmart Supercenter. The city also has a thriving tourism industry with attractions like Sandy Lake Amusement Park and Indian Creek Golf Club drawing visitors from all over Texas.
