Despite its size, Ceel Baraf has a rich history and cultural heritage. During the colonial era, Ceel Baraf was an important trading center for ivory and other goods. Later on, It became an important hub for fishing and maritime trade. Today, It’s known for its beautiful beaches, Traditional architecture and vibrant local culture.
