Chiclayo is a city located in the northwest of Peru. It is known for its rich history, Vibrant culture, And stunning architecture. The city is the capital of Lambayeque region and sits between the Andes mountains and the Pacific Ocean. One of Chiclayo’s most famous attractions is the Royal Tombs Museum.   3. EGB Trujillo-Chiclayo: A basketball team active during the 1980s and early 1990s, playing primarily in regional leagues.
  4. Sport Áncash FC: While not based in Chiclayo, this soccer team has played several seasons at Estadio Elías Aguirre located there. The club was founded in Huaraz but moved to Chimbote before settling on playing some home games in Chiclayo.
