Krugersdorp is a city located in the Gauteng Province of South Africa. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers west of Johannesburg and lies on the Witwatersrand, A gold-rich area that has played a significant role in South Africa’s history. The city was founded in 1887 and named after Paul Kruger, The former president of the Transvaal Republic.
