Delhi, The capital city of India, Is a fascinating blend of modernity and tradition. It is one of the oldest cities in the world with a rich history that dates back to over 5, 000 years. One of the most iconic landmarks in Delhi is the Red Fort which was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1639.

The fort is made up of red sandstone and houses several buildings including Diwan-i-Aam (Hall for Public Audience), Diwan-i-Khas (Hall for Private Audience) and Rang Mahal (Palace of Colors). Another famous monument in Delhi is Qutub Minar which was built in 1192 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, It’s an impressive tower standing at a height of 73 meters. Delhi also has some beautiful temples like Akshardham Temple which boasts stunning architecture and intricate carvings. Lotus Temple shaped like a lotus flower with its white marble petals attracts visitors from all over India as well as abroad.

Chandni Chowk market here offers everything from jewelry to clothes to street food vendors selling delicious Indian delicacies such as chaat papdi or gol gappa.
