Chorzów is a city located in the Silesian Voivodeship of Poland, Situated in the southern part of the country. With a population of over 113, 000 inhabitants, It is one of the largest cities in this region and has a rich history dating back to the 13th century. The city’s name comes from chorz, Which means bad or evil in old Polish. This reflects its past as an industrial center during World War II when it was heavily bombed by German forces. However, Today Chorzów has transformed into a modern and vibrant urban area with plenty to offer visitors.
