Chuzhou is a city located in the eastern part of China’s Anhui Province with a rich history that dates back over 2, 000 years.   1. The Battle of Chuzhou (758 AD) was a significant battle during the Tang Dynasty between the forces of Emperor Xuanzong and a rebel army led by An Lushan.

  3. The Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864) was a massive civil war that took place across China, including in Chuzhou, resulting in the deaths of millions of people.
