Everett is a city located in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is situated about 25 miles north of Seattle and has a population of over 111, 000 people. The city was founded in the late 19th century as a lumber town and was named after Everett Colby, The son of one of its founders. Today, Everett is known for its diverse economy that includes aerospace manufacturing, Healthcare services, And tourism. Boeing’s largest assembly plant for commercial aircraft is located in Everett and employs over 30, 000 people.
