Gilbert is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, With a population of approximately 250, 000 residents. It was founded in 1891 and named after William Gilbert, Who provided land for the Arizona Eastern Railway. The town’s picturesque downtown area is known for its unique shops, Restaurants and galleries. The Heritage District has been designated as an official Arizona Main Street community and hosts live music performances, Art festivals and farmer’s markets throughout the year. The Riparian Preserve at Water Ranch is one of Gilbert’s most popular attractions.

This 110-acre wetland habitat offers visitors opportunities to observe over 200 species of birds as well as other wildlife such as beavers and coyotes.
