Guixi is a city located in the southern part of Jiangxi province in China, Known for its rich history and culture. The city has a population of around 1.2 million people and covers an area of 3, 267 square kilometers. Guixi is situated on the banks of the Gan River, Which is one of the largest rivers in China. The history of Guixi dates back over 2, 000 years ago when it was established as a county during the Han Dynasty (206 BC–220 AD).

The city played an important role during various dynasties due to its strategic location as a transportation hub between central and southern China. During the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD), Guixi became an important center for tea production and trade. One of the most famous attractions in Guixi is Mount Sanqing National Park, Covering an area of over 200 square kilometers. The park features three main peaks: Yujing Peak, Yuxu Peak, And Yuhua Peak that rise up to over 1, 800 meters above sea level.

Mount Sanqing National Park has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site due to its unique geological formations and biodiversity.
