Hebi is a city situated in the Henan province of China. The population of the city is over 1.5 million people, And it covers an area of about 2, 182 square kilometers. Hebi lies on the northern side of the Songshan Mountain Range and at an altitude of around 150 meters above sea level. The history of Hebi dates back to the Han Dynasty when it was called Biyang County. It was a strategic military location during that time due to its proximity to several important transportation routes.

In modern times, Hebi has become an industrial hub with a focus on coal mining and heavy industry. One notable attraction in Hebi is the Yinxu Ruins located just outside the city limits.
