    Sports Teams

    1. 1. FC Seoul was founded in 1983 as Lucky-Goldstar Hwangso and later renamed to FC Seoul in 2004. They have won six K League titles and two Korean FA Cups.
    2. The Doosan Bears baseball team was founded in 1982 as the OB Bears and later merged with the Doosan Group to become the Doosan Bears. They have won six Korean Series championships.
    3. Anyang Halla is an ice hockey team that was founded in 1994 and is based in Anyang City, Gyeonggi Province. They play in the Asia League Ice Hockey and have won three championships.
    4. Incheon United FC was founded in 2003 and plays in the K League but has never won a championship despite being runners-up twice.
    5. Ulsan Hyundai FC was established as Hyundai Horangi back in 1983 before being renamed to Ulsan Hyundai Horangi then finally becoming Ulsan Hyundai FC over time. They have won three K League titles along with one AFC Champions League title.
    6. Suwon Samsung Bluewings FC started out as Ilhwa Chunma Football Club back when it was established back in 1995 before Samsung Group acquired them which led to their renaming into Suwon Samsung Bluewings FC; they are one of the most successful teams with seven K League titles along with two AFC Champions League titles under their belt.
    7. The Kia Tigers baseball team originated from Haitai Tigers when it got renamed after merging with Kia Motors Corporation’s baseball team division back around 1982; they are one of the most successful teams having achieved eleven Korean Series championships throughout their history.
