Hung Yen is a beautiful and peaceful province in the northern part of Vietnam, Just 60 kilometers away from the country’s capital, Hanoi. The province has a population of approximately 1.2 million people and covers an area of about 923 square kilometers. The history of Hung Yen dates back to the Ly dynasty (1010-1225) when it was known as Phuong Chi and was famous for its silk weaving industry.
