Ikeja is a bustling city located in Lagos State, Nigeria. As the capital of Lagos State and one of the most populous cities in Nigeria, It has a population of over 3 million people. The city is situated in southwestern Nigeria and serves as a commercial hub with various markets, Shopping malls, Banks, Hotels, Restaurants, And other commercial centers. The Murtala Muhammed International Airport is one of the major attractions in Ikeja. It serves as an entry point for foreign visitors to Nigeria and a transit point for travelers going to other parts of Africa or Europe.

Ikeja also boasts several government institutions such as Alausa Secretariat which houses various state ministries including Lagos State House Assembly Complex where lawmakers make laws that govern Lagosians. The Ikeja City Mall (ICM) is another notable attraction that opened its doors in December 2011. The mall features several international brands such as Shoprite (South Africa), Mr Price (South Africa), Mango (Spain) among others. Fela’s Shrine is a historical site located within Ikeja that was once home to legendary Nigerian musician Fela Kuti before he died.
