It is situated just a few miles south of downtown Los Angeles and has a population of approximately 110, 000 people. The city covers an area of 9.14 square miles and is known for its diverse community, Rich history, And cultural landmarks. One of the most notable landmarks in Inglewood is The Forum which was originally built as an indoor sports arena in 1967.
Over the years, It has hosted numerous concerts and events featuring some of the biggest names in music such as Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, And Prince. Today, The Forum serves as the home court for the Los Angeles Lakers basketball team. Another landmark in Inglewood is Hollywood Park Racetrack which closed down after almost 80 years but was recently redeveloped into SoFi Stadium; home to both NFL teams LA Rams & LA Chargers since September 2020.
