Jaú is a city situated in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It’s known as the Capital of Footwear due to its significance in the shoe industry, Which has been a major contributor to the city’s economy for over a century. Jaú has an approximate population of 150, 000 people and covers an area of 687 square kilometers. The history of Jaú dates back to the mid-19th century when it was founded by Italian immigrants who came to Brazil seeking better opportunities.
