Kalyani is a city situated in the Nadia district of West Bengal, India, Approximately 50 kilometers away from Kolkata. The city was founded in 1950 by Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy, Who was then the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Kalyani has gained recognition for its educational institutions and industrial development. The city boasts several educational institutions that attract students from all over India. Kalyani University is one such institution established in 1960 and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in different fields such as science, Arts, Commerce, Engineering and technology.
