Kassala is a city situated in the eastern part of Sudan, Near the border with Eritrea. It serves as the capital of Kassala State and has a population of around 500, 000 individuals. The city is renowned for its rich history and cultural heritage, As well as its breathtaking landscapes and natural attractions. One of its most prominent landmarks is Taka Mountains, Which lie just outside the city.
