Kisaran is a small town located in the North Sumatra province of Indonesia. It is situated on the east coast of Sumatra Island, Approximately 200 kilometers southeast of Medan, The provincial capital. The town covers an area of 25 square kilometers and has a population of around 200, 000 people. Kisaran’s economy relies heavily on agriculture and fishing. The town is known for its production of rice, Corn, Cassava, And other crops. Fishermen from Kisaran also catch various species of fish from the nearby waters which are sold in local markets or exported to other parts of Indonesia.
