Kota is a city in southern Rajasthan, India with a rich cultural heritage and historical significance. It was once the capital of the Rajput kingdom of Bundi and has seen many battles between different dynasties including Mughals and Marathas. With a population of over 1 million people, Kota is one of the largest cities in Rajasthan. The city is also an important industrial hub with large-scale industries such as cement, Power generation, Textiles, And engineering.

One popular tourist attraction in Kota is the Kota Garh Palace or City Palace built by Maharao Madho Singh II during his reign from 1889 to 1922. The palace features beautiful architecture with intricate carvings on its walls and ceilings that reflect Rajasthani culture. It also has a museum displaying artifacts from different periods in Indian history. Another notable attraction is Jag Mandir located on an island in Kishore Sagar Lake.
