Kremenchuk is a city situated in the central region of Ukraine, Located on the banks of the Dnieper River. It is known for being one of Ukraine’s largest industrial centers and has a long history dating back to the 16th century. The city was established in 1571 by Jan Kremenetsky, A Polish magnate who constructed a fortress to safeguard against Tartar invasions. Throughout its past, Kremenchuk has been under various rules such as Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and Soviet before achieving independence with Ukraine’s declaration of independence in 1991.
