Liaocheng is a city located in the eastern part of Shandong Province in China. It is situated on the bank of the Grand Canal and covers an area of 8, 715 square kilometers with a population of over 5.8 million people. The city has a long history that dates back to over 2, 000 years ago during the Han Dynasty. Liaocheng is known for its rich cultural heritage and ancient architecture. One of its most famous landmarks is the Guangyue Tower, Which was built during the Tang Dynasty and stands at over 50 meters tall.
